Maximus (Caesar 235-238). AE Sestertius, Rome mint. Obv. MAXIMVS CAES GERM. Bare-headed and draped bust right. Rev. PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS SC. Maximus standing left, holding baton and spear; behind, two standards. RIC IV 13; C. 14. AE. 19.86 g. 29.00 mm. Scarce. A choice example, with a fine style portrait. Uneven tan and deep brown patina. Good VF.
