Bow in bow case decorated with aphlaston, flanked by two serpents; MH above prytaneis monogram above; ΠEPΓ civic monogram to left; thyrsos entwined by a serpent to right. SNG BN 1745-6; Kleiner, Hoard 41. AR. 12.50 g. 25.50 mm. A superb example, struck on a broad flan. Brilliant and lightly toned, with iridescent hues. EF.
