RIC I (2nd ed.) 126; C. 21. AR. 3.64 g. 20.5 mm. R. Rare and fascinating issue. Oval flan, light toning, with iridescent hues. VF. Perhaps for the fortieth birthday of Augustus, whose features seem drawn; he was critically ill in 25 and 23 AD[...].
