Trajan seated left in curule chair on high platform. accompanied by an officer, placing diadem on the head of king Parthamaspates who stands before him next to platform; Parthia kneeling right in supplication to left. RIC II 667; C. 328 (Fr. 20). AE. 26.84 g. 34.00 mm. R. Rare and historically important issue. Superb portrait, nice brown patina, with orichalcum highlights. VF.
